In the 29 completed seasons of the Premier League so far, 19 different goalkeepers can lay claim to bagging the highest number of clean sheets in one single season.
Eight have secured the honour more than once.
Only in the 2004-05 campaign did the governing body decide to officially recognise the accolade with what we now know as the Golden Glove award.
